I am new to music recording and I cannot get my version of cubase sx 2.0 to record. I have recently installed a soundblaster live 5.1 digital card and when I open up cubase i get the message 'the audio imput is not activated. Recording audio is not possible, please click on the asio control panel button in the vst device setup. make sure a device name is selected in the imput port section and activate the corresponding check box in the first column' and when i configure the imput and output ports I still cannot record audio or for that matter I camot record any midi from my keyboard either any help with this would greatly b appreciated as i am going off my head trying to resolve this problem!!
