So i have been seeing conflicting threads about getting the D-Link DWL-520 Wireless NIC to work in Linux. I recently got one and found that the Prism2 drivers, that some people say they use, didn't work for me.
Hello everyone. Im having some trouble connecting to the internet using linux on my Dlink DWL 520+ network card. The problem is, my network is WPA. And when i go into my network configuration, there is no option to bring WPA up. How do I get this to work? Ive read through somethings, but sinceim a linux noobie, I dont know what im doing. But people say that I can enable WPA. Maybe i need acx drivers? Well i downloaded the acx100 drivers from sourcefourge (latest version). but i dont know what im doing once again. All i see is soure code files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
